Raw Land Appeal Saves Client 29%

A Florida based aggregate company engaged INTAX to appeal the assessment of a 590-acre tract of land in Dade County. The raw land was to be developed into an active quarry site. We commissioned the necessary appraisal report and formally protested the valuation to the VAB Special Magistrate. Our efforts were successful in achieving a 29% reduction in value. The successful appeal resulted in a refund check in excess of $117,000.
